Directive on empowering consumers for the green transition

The Directive on Empowering Consumers for the Green Transition, adopted on 20^th February, 2024, is an upgrade to previous EU directives (2005/29/EC and 2011/83/EU), to further enhance consumer rights and promote sustainable consumption by addressing unfair commercial practices and improving the information available to consumers.
